Commendation Awards

Commendations are issued each year to recognise excellence through the Compact. A record 28 commendations were awarded in 2006, 23 in 2007 and over 80 have been awarded since 2003.

Commendations are awarded for Compact work locally, regionally and nationally, for achievements over the previous year.

The Compact Annual Meeting is held in Parliament each year (November/December time) and is now coordinated by the Commission for the Compact.

Commendations for Compact excellence have been awarded since 2003 and up until 2006 they been awarded by Compact Voice. The Commission for the Compact now awards the Compact Commendations.
