Compact case studies

Commission for the Compact

The Commission for the Compact is currently working with a number of public sector organisations offering advice and practical support on using the Compact.  A series of case studies will be published on the Compact website in the coming months highlighting what some of these organisations have done to improve their use of the Compact and what they learnt during the process.

The case studies will provide ideas and models of good practice that other public sector organisations, looking to use the Compact more effectively, can learn from.  Alongside the case studies, there will be practical documents such as project plans, templates and presentations used by the organisations during their work to implement the Compact.

Take part in the Local Compacts survey

survey

There is still time to participate in the Commission for the Compact’s Local Compacts survey.

The survey asks for information on the Local Compact in the area, what it is, how it operates, and who is involved, etc.  The information collected will help generate examples of good practice, build a picture of Local Compacts across England and create a list of key contacts for policy and research purposes.

IAt this stage, Chief Executives of Councils for Voluntary Service (CVS) in top tier local authority areas have been asked to complete the survey or nominate an appropriate person.  However, responses from representatives of Local Compacts from either the CVS or local authorities are welcome.
